The questions raised by Ferrari's start to 2020 F1 testing
Ferrari didn't trouble the top end of the timesheets on the first day of Formula 1 testing at Barcelona, but given how its performances this time last year created so much false hope, there's no need to read into the laptimes just yet. But our first chance to get up close with the SF1000 to compare it to Ferrari's F1 rivals has raised questions, as has the fact the team appears to be taking a different approach to testing after the confusion of early 2019. Speaking from Barcelona, Edd Straw, Gary Anderson and Scott Mitchell discuss Ferrari's prospects, areas it could be getting left behind in, plus an early update on the promising signs for Red Bull and Mercedes.
