The Playstation 5 is the next gen console from Sony, expected to release near the end of 2020.

The specs include a custom designed 850MB high speed SSD (Solid State Drive) storage that is faster than anything available on the PC market today. On the computing side an 8 core, 16 thread 'Zen 2' CPU is being used along with a graphical processor capable of 10.28 teraslops of compute processing, coupled with 16GB GDDR6 memory. Sony have said that the console will include ray tracing and a custom sound processing engine indended to provide audio that is far in advance of the current generation.

Launching on 12th November (USA & Japan), 19th November (rest of world).
