The F1 2021 season presents new driver line ups, team name changes and the return of the Schumacher name to the grid and also the return of Fernando Alonso. Renault is now Alpine, Racing Point is now Aston Martin. The regulations have had a small bug significant change to rear aerodynamics which has shaken up the grid. Red Bull aim to finally replace Mercedes at the top of the championship and we are seeing a Hamilton Vs Verstappen battle that we hope will last for the whole season
The calendar for the season is set to be more traditional than the 2020 season, however with 22 dates (previously 23 dates) currently set this could be the longest season in history. The calendar looks like this:
28th March – Bahrain (Sakhir) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Bottas
18th April – Italy (Imola) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Norris
2nd May - Portugal (Portimão) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Bottas
9th May – Spain (Barcelona) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Bottas
23rd May – Monaco (Monaco) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Sainz, 3rd Norris
6th June – Azerbaijan (Baku) - 1st. Perez, 2nd Vettel, 3rd Gasly
20th June – France (Le Castellet) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Perez
27th June – Austria (Spielberg) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Bottas
4th July – Austria (Spielberg) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Bottas, 3rd Norris
18th July – United Kingdom (Silverstone) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Leclerc, 3rd Bottas
1st August – Hungary (Budapest) - 1st. Ocon, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Sainz
29th August – Belgium (Spa) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Russell, 3rd Hamilton (Abandoned race, 1/2 points)
5th September – Netherlands (Zandvoort) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Bottas
12th September – Italy (Monza) - 1st. Ricciardo, 2nd Norris, 3rd Bottas
26th September – Russia (Sochi) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Sainz
10th October – Turkey (Istanbul) - 1st. Bottas, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Perez
24th October – USA (Austin) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Perez
7th November – Mexico (Mexico City) - 1st. Verstappen, 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Perez
14th November – Brazil (Sao Paulo) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Bottas
21st November – Qatar (Losail International Circuit) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Alonso
5th December – Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) - 1st. Hamilton, 2nd Verstappen, 3rd Bottas
12th December – Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi) - 1st. Verstappen (WDC), 2nd Hamilton, 3rd Sainz
