Lawrence Stroll has shelled out hundreds of millions since taking over what was then called Force India in 2018. But since turning into Aston Martin Racing at the start of last year, the team has failed to get the expected results, with back-to-back seventh places in the constructors’ championship. That’s well short of what was hoped for.
But there are reasons for optimism. That’s not least because, in May 2023, the team will move into its brand new, state-of-the art factory located adjacent to its current site opposite the main entrance to Silverstone.
It is a landmark moment for the team. And one that, in five ways we’ll explain in this video, marks the real start for Aston Martin Racing in F1.
