The major F1 engine upgrade Honda kept secret

Honda has been using an upgraded battery since the Formula 1 summer break that has yielded better engine and car performance. Although the new part helped Max Verstappen claim wins at Spa and Zandvoort, it wasn't until the build-up to the Russian Grand Prix that Honda revealed details of the update. In this video Scott Mitchell explains why Honda's changes are so significant, how long they have been in the works for, and why there was nothing underhand or illegal about Honda's secrecy.
