This is the ultimate BMW vs Mercedes showdown. We wanted to find out which is quickest - the new 2018 F90 BMW M5, with its 600hp 4.4-litre twin turbo V8, or the Mercedes-AMG E63 S and its 612hp 4.0-litre twin turbo V8. Both have loads of space, both are super luxurious, both cost almost £90,000 and both have clever all-wheel-drive systems which can be switched into rear-wheel-drive only mode.
