We caught a few glimpses of the Alfa Romeo C42 when it was shaken down at Fiorano earlier this month, but our first clear look at the whole car came when it hit the track on the first morning of pre-season testing in Barcelona.
It’s still decked in its camouflage livery because the car will not show its true colours until Alfa Romeo’s launch event on the 27th of February. But despite that making it tricky to see all of the details, there’s plenty of eye-catching technical aspects of this car - not least the fact it has joined McLaren and Red Bull in opting for pushrod rear suspension.
And if you want to keep up with everything that’s going on at F1 testing at Barcelona - which is not on TV this year - make sure you check out The Race Live Hub on our website where our team on the ground in Spain will be providing regular updates. [https://the-race.com]
