The 2023 Audi RS3 ($58,900 starting in the US) is now forbidden fruit for us here in Canada, since it is no longer sold within our borders. However an American RS3 can still come and visit, and share with us the melodic roar of the only new 5-cylinder engine on the market. A 5-cylinder turbo that makes 401 horsepower, 369 lb ft of torque, and has a blistering claimed 0-60 time of just 3.6 seconds.
But does this new and improved RS3 still suffer from the same understeer that plagued earlier generations? Or does the new torque-splitting rear differential provide just what it needs to put the power down more confidently and have a little slide-happy fun in a corner?
