With @suicidaltendencies, Hellfest invites crossover and thrash metal heavyweights to Clisson. From which to shake his Mains Stages!
It is in California, in Venice Beach more precisely, that Suicidal Tendencies was born. The band formed in 1982 while lead singer Mike Muir was still a student. If in its infancy the group is talked about, it is unfortunately not always for its music (rumors of belonging to gangs, controversy around its name, etc.). Fortunately for the clique, all this ends up playing in his favor, his notoriety growing.
In 1983, Suicidal Tendencies released their self-titled debut album. Huge card: the public success is there and the title "Institutionalized" is broadcast on MTV. Suicidal Tendencies became one of the first hardcore bands to air on the American channel. History! Over the course of the productions, Suicidal Tendencies has gone from a punk/hardcore style to decidedly more metal and then thrash influences. He even allows himself a passage through progressive and funk metal with The Art Of Rebellion.
Since appearing in front of our cameras at Hellfest 2017, Suicidal Tendencies have released the album Still Cyco Punk After All These Years. We see it live.
