Michael Andretti's FIA-blessed bid to join the Formula 1 grid has fallen at the last, biggest hurdle - getting F1 itself to actually approve his entry.
And in fact, instead of a simple denial, F1 has offered quite an extensive list of reasons for why it doesn't believe Andretti's Cadillac/GM-supported bid is worthy of a seat at the table.
