The questions posed by Hamilton’s new one-year Mercedes F1 deal

Lewis Hamilton has finally signed a new deal with Mercedes for this year, but he’s only committed to the team for 2021. Given that both sides were believed to be keen to avoid a repeat of the speculation that surrounded driver and team throughout 2020, a short extension to the deal raises quite a few questions.
