Why this is F1 2024’s most controversial car

Creator: THE RACE    Category: Sport    Added: 10 Feb 2024

What looks likely to be F1’s most controversial car of 2024 has been launched with the reveal of Red Bull’s rebranded RB team’s wonderfully titled VCARB 01.

Whether it’s the new name, the new colours, or the new closer Red Bull collaboration, this team has attracted plenty of attention over the winter and that’s not going to change once its 2024 car hits the track.

While the driver line-up of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda is a familiar one having finished last season as team-mates, that’s about as far as the continuity goes for the team formerly known as AlphaTauri formerly known as Toro Rosso.

Closer ties to the main Red Bull team are the source of obvious grievance among rival teams with McLaren by far and away the most vocal so far, but we expect the complaints to only increase in volume if this car achieves what Red Bull hopes it will.
